Tory MP Philip Hollobone accused of elephant cruelty



According to Mr Philip Hollobone (Kettering) (Con) "it is my job as a humble Back Bencher to stand up and to speak up for my constituents, whose view is that this country should not give prisoners the right to vote, and is my job to hold the Government to account on that".

I would be surprised if he had bothered to canvass all 81,844 constituents for their view on the issue. And even more surprised if they all held the same view...

"If I asked my constituents whether prisoners should be given the right to vote, the vast majority would say that they should not".

So, now he's a bleeding mind reader speaking out for them on what he thinks they would say!
